Unfermented bales of silage or chopped material are stored as grass or chopped material and do not continue to ferment in storage. Therefore please use an object storage. In addition, both types of cotton bales can be stored. The material (except for cotton) can be picked up again loose. Alternatively, you can spawn bales.
